Private Caregiver Opportunities

Make a Difference as a Caregiver

Joining our team at Keep Living at Home is different than most other opportunities.   I believe that happiness comes when you have a family / home / work balance.   Being an Independent Private Caregiver you have the option of choosing when you work and who you work with.

Going above and beyond for our clients is an expectation.   All skills can be taught or learned, but we cannot teach the heart.  We are looking for Private Caregivers that want to know our clients, learn their life stories, and become like family to them.   As a Private Caregiver you can choose to take your own state accredited trainings, or we have a state approved training platform that you can join.   (This is available even if you don't work with KLAH for client matching.)

We will match your skills with the clients needs.  Some of our clients require help in daily living tasks:  showers, medication reminders, incontinence, transfers, errands, cooking, cleaning, transporting to errands.   The Training Certification Program we use allows you to take additional training in End of life supports, Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, ALS, Huntington's Disease,  Aging, or whatever disease you have interest in working with.   We match the clients needs and desires to your training and desired clients / times.

When I started Keep Living at Home I wanted this to be a place where you can work as much or little as you needed based on what life has for you.  There are times when a minimum number of working hours won't pay for life's expenses,  just as there are times when life has other areas that need your focus.  I believe a good caregiver will have the ability to be where they need to be when they need to be there and have the option of working as much or as little as they need to in order to change their life as they desire.
